The pages under Membership identify three categories of local membership in Florence Rotary: New Active Members Active Members Virtual Active Members - members whose family, social and service life continue to be imbedded in the community but who, because of circumstances beyond their control, are unable to attend Tuesday meetings.
The Board of Directors follows a strict procedure for approving Virtual membership requiring the member and a sponsor to sign an agreement that outlines the manner in which fellowship and service will be accomplished using the Interenet and personal contact with club members and club activities.
The pilot agreement for this project is with Larry Hanslits, former member, and John Minter, member and sponsor.
